Brock and Maria start to play pranks on each other. Their practical jokes catch on and soon everyone joins in on the 'fun'. Feeling left out, Sharon becomes desperate to be part of the crowd. Then she has an idea to play a practical joke on Connor--using a secret he confided to her years ago--he's afraid of scary bugs! Sharon scares him with a rubber cockroach and, as he ran away from it, he accidentally gets fully naked in front of his friends, including Sharon and Alyson. The joke goes big with everyone except Alyson and Connor, who is furious and feels humiliated and betrayed. Sharon tries to 'jolly' him out of his mood--she was sure he'd gotten over it--but Connor doesn't forgive her. And later, Sharon gets upset when she discovers that Connor has divulged one of Sharon's minor secrets to Alyson. Now both injured parties start to feel as if they've outgrown each other and decide their friendship is officially over. In the end, they both realize that their relationship doesn't have to disappear--it just has to change.
Maria's prank : Maria asks Sophie to help play a prank on Brock. Sophie tells Brock that her boyfriend had drank 17 slushies and Maria agrees to let Brock drink 17. Brock ends up winning, but realizes Sophie made a mistake that her boyfriend had drank 26 in a row, causing Brock to get sick and Alden tells him the truth about Maria's prank. Brock vows to get his revenge on Maria for her prank.
Brock's Prank : Brock ends up putting all of Maria's stuff including her clothes, her bed, and her shoes on the rooftop after he leaves her a videotape message saying the rooftop patriot is awesome

There is a deleted scene where Sharon makes a “cold shower” joke related to Connor’s private parts, when he was fully nude in front of everyone , but was considered way too “adult” for the show’s audience. The deleted scene can be watched on the show’s DVD.
