- Ellie's hair color has changed on at least two different occasions. Considering that Nina's hair is not truly red and known to be colored, it may be that Ellie may change hers either with the seasons or is a "bottle of the month"-type of woman.
- Ellie drives a car with a large passenger capacity.[1] It can take 7 passengers in addition to the driver.
- Nina's parents are very fond of Sharon and think she and Nina are still friends, apparently not knowing about their feud.[2] This is further demonstrated by refusing to believe Nina when she tells her mother that Sharon and her friends were skipping school.[1]
