Marlo is a student at Elkford High School, and a friend of Sharon and Maria's.
She is an athletic girl who likes hockey and plays for the girls' hockey team at Elkford High and who dated Alden after he and Sharon had broken up. While things were okay between them in the beginning, Marlo became clingier and more possessive of Alden as time went on, especially once it starts becoming more and more apparent that Alden still has feelings for Sharon.
Once it becomes clear that things just aren't working between them, Alden and Marlo decide to break up.[1]

- Just like Sharon's parents, Marlo's parents are divorced -- but while Sharon's mom and dad have a new boyfriend and girlfriend, respectively (and who both have children from previous relationship), Marlo's dad has apparently gotten remarried (meaning that Marlo has a stepmother).
- It's unknown if Marlo's stepmother has any children from a previous relationship or if she and Marlo's dad ended up having more children after they got married.
- It's also unknown if Marlo's mom is also remarried (or is at least dating anyone) or if she's still single.
- According to her ex-boyfriend in the series finale, Marlo's not into camping.
- Alden also claims in the series finale that he probably wouldn't have gone to Enviro-Camp if he and Marlo were still dating, because even though Marlo's not into camping, she didn't like Alden going off and doing stuff without her (another sign of her clingy/possessive nature).
