Lorenza is Nina's pet dog.
Sharon and Maria found Lorenza in the alley behind La Halepeno, where she was scavenging the garbage for food[1].
Sharon resisted allowing Nina to take Lorenza for quite some time, initially assuming that Nina only wanted Lorenza as her dog in order to impress Isaac Rosenberg, but eventually realized that Nina really did care about Lorenza and that she probably would make a good owner for her.
