Lara and Sara are David's identical twin daughters from a previous relationship.
Although Sharon and the twins have only known each other for a relatively short time, they get along really well and the twins are shown to be very fond of Sharon, even viewing her as an older sister.
Sharon babysits the twins sometimes and they respond favorably to her instructions, following them without argument instantly.

- The twins are taking tapdancing classes.
- Although Sharon has never seen the twins in their casual clothes when she first learns of them[1], in her imagine spot, they were wearing them. This is most likely because the animators recycled the concept designs for later use.[2]
- The twins' name and appearance is a reference to Lara Croft and Sara Pezzini, who worked as a team in several comic crossovers. Like the twins, they are both brunettes.
- Lara and Sara's mother (David's first wife) is never revealed.
