XSisters is the all-girl band formed by Sharon Spitz.
Sharon is a lead singer and songwriter.
Maria is the other lead singer.
Alyson is the backup singer, music composer and piano player.
Tired of being categorized as a "girly girl", Sharon gets the idea from Alyson to start a girl band to enter a band competition.
Initially, Sharon insisted on emphasizing their tough girl aspects, until she realized you can be both both tough and feminine at the same time.
Which prompted her to make some last minute changes to their image and signature song.
Although the band had only existed for about a week, they were good enough to win second prize at the competition.
